My favorite holiday – hands down – is Christmas, and I’ve been day-dreaming about what Christmas at Holly Tree Cottage will look like. If it’s anything like what’s in my brain, I may never leave that home for the holiday! This year, we all once again traveled down to St. Petersburg, Florida to celebrate the holiday season in the sun. My parents drive down from Indiana with their dog; Martin’s parents, grandmother, and “Uncle Slap” fly over; and we pack up our dogs and the trailer and drive the…
Every Christmas Eve no matter where we are in the world, Martin and I (and whoever wants to join) find a Christmas Eve church service to attend. It’s always a big to-do for us: ladies in dresses, men in suits. I couldn’t resist wearing this beautiful Kate Spade winter floral silk dress for Christmas Eve service this year. I met up with my best friend Audra this week in her hometown of Orlando so we could hit the outlets for their pre-Christmas sales, and we practically stole from some of the shops. Kate Spade…

I love the excitement I felt as a kid, waking up in the morning to find snow on the ground in hopes of a day off (or at least a two-hour delay!). Martin and I took full advantage of the festive beauty by heading over to the Carmel Civic Plaza and the Monon Trail to enjoy the Christmas tree. We stopped by the Kolache Factory to fill up on kolaches, which are the most…
A new calendar year for me has always been the time to reflect on the year past and bring change to the year ahead. This past year, Martin and I were (finally!) married and adopted our new dog Tucker. We made 2016 a celebration of our new life as husband and wife; we married in America in January and had our wedding blessing in England in July. This year we spent a collective four months apart due to Martin’s racing career, and he has been making strong impressions in the sports car and coaching worlds. In 2017, Martin will…
