Our Wedding Vows

Martin, of all the blessings I’ve been given, you are by far the best. The last six years, four months, and fifteen days have been the greatest adventure of my life.

We’ve celebrated the highest of highs, consoled each other in the dark days, and encouraged each other as we’ve pursued our dreams.

We’ve traveled the world, and we’ve found our home. I believe at the very core of my soul that God created us for each other.

As your wife, I promise to respect you and appreciate you each day.

I promise to encourage and support you with your life’s goals. I promise to remember that I am not always right.

I promise to share your burden, multiply your joy, and remember the love we celebrate today.

I promise to put our family first, embrace the changes that come with age, and comfort you in our final days.

Because of the love and life we have built together, I present to you these vows.

Before God and these witnesses, I, Nicole, take you, Martin, as my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, as long as we both shall live.

Nicole, the past 6 years with you have been the best of my life so far, and I feel so lucky to have met you. You continue to inspire me to be a better person every day, and always have my back in the dark days.

I promise to encourage and support you with your life goals.

I promise to be patient and understanding. I promise to do my best to keep my side of the bed clean.

Even though at times life will present its challenges, I promise to love you as much as I do today.

Because of the love and life we’ve built together, I present to you these vows.
